Summer Camps 2011

Fun, summer camps offered for ages 5-13

All levels of riding experience welcome

Daily riding lessons, games, art projects, and horse care fundamentals.

JP Training offers a very popular 'Summer Fun with Horses' program. These four-day, four-hour camps for ages 5-13 are run by Teri Anderson, director of our School horse program. Teri is a life-long equestrians and a successful horse show competitor. She has been teaching at Portola Farms for over 6 years.

Each session is limited to eight campers with daily one-hour lessons of four riders grouped by ability and/or age. Horse care fundamentals will be stressed; safety, grooming, tacking and un-tacking, bathing, etc. Campers will also enjoy art projects, games, special demonstrations, and more!

Camps are Monday through Thursday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

2011 Summer Camp Prices

• Four Day Camp (with school horses/ponies) - $550
• 2 Four Day Camps or 2 children - $450 each
